Kiera
was an outstanding black female out of Liza and JJ. Kiera
had very
good marking skills, drive, great nose, and a great disposition.
She weighed 63 pounds. Both sides of her pedigree contain
some of
the oldest linebred Pointing Labrador bloodlines in the US and
Ireland producing 10 NFC's and one Hall of Fame Labrador.
Every dog in several
generations of her pedigree is genetically clean and comes from
the best bloodlines in America, Ireland, and England. Kiera
was OFA
Hips GOOD, OFA Elbows NORMAL, CERF current(6/28/2010), and EIC
CLEAR. Kiera carried a yellow color coat gene. She had perfect
conformation
and truly represents what we are trying to produce in our breeding
program. She was the complete total package possessing all
of the
traits and skills that Labradors used to have. Kiera trained
very easily. She had very good drive but was very good in
the house
as well. I was so pleased with Liza and the puppies(Kiera, etc)
she produced that I flew to Ireland in 2007 and bought another
female
puppy(Glenbriar Roisin) from the kennel that produced Liza's maternal
bloodline. That led me back to Ireland again in 2011 when
I brought
Glenbriar Primrose(yellow) home. Labradors like they used to be! |
